1. Tell us a bit about yourself
Hi my name is Monique, I’m a Melbourne based Artist and I love to dance!
2. What inspires your choreography?
A myriad of things inspire my choreography, including my dance friends and favourite choreographers, but my main source of inspiration is the music that I'm choreographing to. Music has utmost importance and determines the mood and feel in Dance, in a way the music moves me and I respond accordingly to what and how I hear it.
3. What has been the highlight of your dancing career so far?
The highlight of my dance journey so far has been connecting and collaborating with big brands while staying true to my craft and character. Also just the simple things such as growing, creating, sharing and exchanging!
4. What does the history of Timberland mean to you?
I myself and a lot of dancers train outside and at outdoor city locations. The streets and outdoors is a special place where we upskill, meet with our community and be unapologetically ourselves. Timberland being founded upon the outdoor lifestyle to me means embracing the outdoors, and doing what we love without restraint.
5. How was your experience on shoot with Timberland?
I really enjoyed shooting for Timberland. We had an amazing team, and a productive and fun environment that I feel allowed Wada and I to literally move freely and be our unique selves behind the lens. Thanks for having us!

1. Tell us a bit about yourself
My name is Wada Kuan and I’m currently 22 years old. After graduating highschool in 2017 I attended Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance on a scholarship, completing a two year course. After completion I was lucky enough to be considered for, and find a lot of work including jobs such as Music videos, clothing campaigns, fashion shows, dance choreography shoots and many more. My passions lay in the creative realm as I feel that’s where my talents lay and I plan to accomplish my creative goals in the next few years in order to be the best version of myself as possible.
2. What inspires your choreography?
My choreography is very urban influenced, while studying I was able to learn multiple styles & managed to use that to my favour by applying all those skills to the style I enjoy the most. Although having studied styles such as ballet, contemporary, tap dance, Latin etc, my passion for the urban world was always superior as I love that it incorporates so many different skills/styles and is ever evolving/changing. As well as urban, I also enjoy the hip hop style with Afro being my favourite of the 3.
3. What has been the highlight of your dancing career so far?
I have been lucky and blessed enough to enjoy many career highs but if I had to highlight one moment, it would probably be the tigerlily music video I did a while back as not only did I get to dance which is my passion, but also dabble in some acting which was an amazing experience and allowed me to step outside of my comfort zone.
4. What does the history of Timberland mean to you?
Timberland has always been one of my favourite brands as one of my many passions include fashion and being an old soul, I always admired how cool timberlands looked in the 2k era. The fits we’re always so dope and the baggy chill style is something I’ve always gone for so I can always appreciate people who know how to rock timbs & look so fly while doing it!
5. How was your experience on shoot with Timberland?
The campaign was so dope and I had the best time. The team was so lovely and made us as the talent feel comfortable to express ourselves and enjoy doing what we do best. They did their best to make sure we were well rested and fed in between the shoot and the vibe was immaculate so I couldn’t ask for more!
