Timberland has once again teamed up with mastermind JAPAN since 2013 – a high street fashion label founded by Masaaki Homma in 1997 who embraced high calibre of garments imprinted with its signature skull and crossbones motif - to launch a highly-anticipated capsule collection collaborated with MASTERMIND WORLD, a new line of mastermind JAPAN started in 2017 for global market, comprising footwear and apparel.

MASTERMIND WORLD is best known for its supreme fabric handling and signature all-black aesthetic, whilst Timberland is renowned for its rich heritage of high quality and craftsmanship. This collaboration has perfectly blended their characteristics into the atypical silhouette, making the products better and remarkable.

Crafted with premium waterbuck leather, the duo has worked together to bring a little twist to the iconic Timberland 6-inch Premium Boots by featuring a one-inch shorter silhouette, i.e. 6 eyelets 5-inch boots, and adding a side zipper as a premium touch on the inner quarter panels for better ease of wear. The boots come with 2 colorways - wheat with distinctive gold detailing and jet-black with contrasting white/silver details, each featuring embroidered Mastermind branding on the leather heel, with the skulls motif embossed on the tongue and hangtag for extra visual intrigue.

To extend the variety, the capsule collection also re-imagines one of the best Timberland’s streetwear silhouette, inspired by 90s vintage Timberland apparels. Made by high-quality cotton fabrics and designed with meticulous, the collection comprises a wide range from oversized short-sleeve tee, oversized long-sleeve tee, sweat shorts to sweat jogger pants. All styles have boasted two signature motifs explicitly on each item, the reworking silhouettes come in 2 legendary colorways – wheat and black creating an impeccable statement look.

The Timberland x MASTERMIND WORLD capsule collection will be available at Timberland Chadstone and Timberland Emporium on Wednesday 19th of September, 2018. All items will be available in an EXTREMELY LIMITED QUANTITY.
