In a continuation of last season’s collaboration, Timberland has once again partnered with pioneering Japanese streetwear brand, mastermind JAPAN, for a joint Fall/Winter 2019 collection. Blending mastermind JAPAN’s signature dark aesthetic with Timberland’s vintage-inspired outdoor design and craftsmanship, the collection comprises a total of six items, including the Field Boot, WEATHERBREAKER waterproof jacket, SHERPA fleece jacket, sweater, casual pants and a graphic tee.

This project is infused with mastermind JAPAN's understated brand of luxury throughout several of Timberland's classic designs. The Field Boot has been updated with a dark brown and jet-black leather upper alongside the TimberDry™ waterproof membrane atop an anti-fatigue insole, while the mastermind JAPAN skull and crossbones logo also adorns the upper in a recurring pattern. Accompanied by eye-catching metallic details, this new iteration of the Field Boot combines urban functionality with a dash of luxury in the creation of a new classic.

The collection also features a series of retro outdoor items, such as the rare WEATHERBREAKER jacket and waterproof bottoms that have been revived from the Timberland Archive. They have been updated with a high-contrast black and white palette, a reflective logo, metallic details, and the use of modern DRYVENT™ waterproof technology.

Similarly, the SHERPA fleece jacket, hoodie and sweatpants have been updated in terms of functionality while still retaining their unique retro appeal. New additions include embroidered mastermind JAPAN branding, as well as reflective detailing throughout.

Timberland x mastermind JAPAN 2019 capsule collection will only be available at Timberland Chadstone on November 9^th in an EXTREMELY LIMITED QUANTITY.
