All jokes aside, we were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the new Altimeter shoes are. With hiker-inspired details and modern performance features, these kicks have you covered for anywhere you go and anything you do. I can't say for sure, but it might have something to do with the SensorFlex™ comfort system they built in. Okay, okay…It has everything to do with that.

Constant support. Active cushioning. Dynamic flex. How's that for a description?

To be honest, I don't usually wear shoes like this - I guess my brain's decided that they look either too bulky and/or too heavy for everyday wear. However, the Altimeter sneaker boots are a game changer with their lightweight durability and style. The best of both worlds, as some would say.

After we shot these photos, V. Ma and I ran around Little Tokyo, downtown L.A., and these Altimeters felt like they'd been broken in, worn right out of the box!
